Update: Morning Report to My evening Report

Update*** Finally got a confirmation about GTN claim about Gilbert. Sounds like he is good for all parties. This is not a done deal from any means but there is real smoke now!! More to come.
My BOS contact was flooded with emails and calls all day yesterday! lol
I wish I could confirm Gilbert but I cannot at this time. I hope my guys are wrong this time!!
All of my contacts in the coaching staff, AD, and BOS have said they expect Ensminger. Two connections confirmed that others had been interviewed. However, they would be shocked if Ensminger is not named Co-OC.
Staff guy seemed supportive of Ensminger hire, and most of the staff want that hire.
AD and BOS Contacts didn't seem enthusiastic. They are the ones who spoke of the interviews, which is good because they are the ones to sign off on it. They have heard from many fans and booster about not hiring Ensminger as full OC.
There is a real divide at this moment as you can tell. Heads will roll next season if the team does not improve or tanks because of a lousy offense.
I believe the Aranda deal has mended some fences, but I gather there is not an agreed upon the direction of the program. This is the most troubling thing to me.
I love LSU, and I can honestly say this whole season from a football management perspective (from ops to Ad) is the most chaotic since the 90s. Most are likely too young, but this feels like the Stovall Era. Way too many good ole boys are in ops, and those good ole boys have some stroke with influential people in the State Government(above BOS).
So I am now preparing for water down music city bowl level football for the foreseeable future. It baffles me one personnel selection. Aranda was a significant step, but my feeling now is that we will stop any momentum.

Give Ed Steve and it’s going to bring his own demise

So who would be the other co-OC in that situation. Sullivan or bring someone else in?

Not watching LSU Football if Ensminger is our OC. Will not do it

I like Steve as Co-OC.
Just bring someone in to challenge him in those offensive meetings and not leave it up to Mickey Joseph to provide input.

just let it be stevie e.
the O boys should cream their pants since stevie helped him get the job last year by fielding an explosive offense.

I mean, the guy did kinda well in 16 for someone using another coach’s playbook.

This should be obvious to most. It's unreal the lack of good leadership at the moment. I hate the O hire more today than I did last year at this time.
