Ideally, Orgeron should be in charge of hiring the assistants, and if he wants Briles, he should go after him. Alleva doesn't need to be his babysitter.

This situation and the Tennessee situation is totally different. I think most fan would love to see our offense ran like the Baylor offense. We've been wanting this for the last few years now and Kendall Briles is the guy who we hope can do it. The Tennessee backlash came because they went from John Gruden to Greg Schiano. They didn't want him as a coach, so in turn they drag his name in the dirt claiming he was complicit in the Penn State case.
