Look for a pro type offense with a pocket passer (Brennan) slinging to top notch receivers and a two back power run game. A la Southern Cal in the Pete Carroll days. Canada doesn't fit that IMO.

If the top 2 guys on your list say no just give the job to the TE coach. That is the logic that gets you a DL coach as the HC.

Man, there are some dumb SOBs that visit and post on this site and you are one of the dumbest. The only reason coach O mentioned Ensminger's name in that press conference Einstein was in the event that Canada left the program before the bowl game, as Ensminger is the obvious go-to guy to call the offensive plays in the bowl game should we need someone to do so.
It's has been well known that Canada has been seeking a head coaching job since coach O hired him almost a year ago.

I agree as well, they are waiting on him, but I do not believe for one second that Sark will work under O. Cant check egos at the door.. Sark was chosen over O for the USC job, no way he becomes his OC... I honestly think they have to get Briles and not take no for an answer. Another part of me feels Canada may stay.. I think his second year the offense could be really good.

You obviously don't understand the type of people on the Board of Supervisors.
They are not the kinds of people who say "LOL, GFY!" when asked about why they hired a man complicit in "abusing women and enforcing the patriarchy."
They are the types of people who who will instead say "LSU is 100% committed to gender equality and fostering a safe space for all students and employees within the university system. For that reason we refuse to consider certain coaching candidates."
Meanwhile, in their own minds, they are thinking "yeah, I know Kendall Briles had nothing to do with that shite, but I'll never get appointed to the Louisiana Commission on __________ next year if I piss off __________."
You don't get appointed to that position by the governor for just being a committed fan.

We really aren’t tho. That may be what you see. We don’t have an average roster. We have a below average head coach. That’s it. Ed Orgerons specialty was defensive line play and yet how many schools wanted him as a DC? We gave a premier job to a guy no one wanted to have in charge of one side of the ball much less the whole program. He’s an insecure bully that’s less qualified than everyone around him. It’s definitley a recipe for success. We are handicapped by Ed O but LSU is not average. Your perspective is skewed

I don’t like the relationship and rumors between O and Canada. After 1 year I’m also not crazy about Canada’s Offense. Maybe he can do something and coach up Myles Brennan. I would just prefer Briles because of his history with developing QB’s and Freeze because it’s Freeze
