Per Business Insider.
Also per Business Insider there's a fix for the Intel CPU flaw, but it's painful.

Intel CEO Brian Krzanich sold off a large portion of his stake in the company months after the chip maker was informed by Google of a significant security vulnerability in its flagship PC processors — but before the problem was publicly known.
Intel CEO Brian Krzanich sold off $24 million worth of stock and options in the company in late November.
Also per Business Insider there's a fix for the Intel CPU flaw, but it's painful.

A design flaw in Intel chips as old as 10 years old was discovered.
Owners of Windows PCs with Intel processors affected by a newly discovered design flaw have an unpleasant choice to make: Leave their PCs vulnerable to hackers, or install a fix that will significantly slow down the performance of their computers.
A software update by Microsoft that fixes the security flaw could cause the performance of the Intel chips to slow down by as much as 30%, according to a report from The Register on Tuesday.

This is the kind of thing nation state hackers have been using for years.
If you use electronic media and have any assumption of privacy, you are a fool. The best approach is to assume the bad guys are already in.

Did not read the article. I assumed it’s news because he dumped his stock with inside info.

Sometimes execs have pre-planned selling of their stock grants to avoid insider trading situations.

It doesn't appear to be anything nefarious.

He was smart enough to get the CEO gig at Intel.
Hears about a problem with one of the company's flagship products and bails on the stock.
Illegal or not, he's still smart.

I read it. Seems like they keep the door open for speculation but no real info to back it up.

Per the article, it looks like you wouldnt be doing yourself any favors by buying AMD.
