You take it. Hell I’d take a pay cut if I was him to work under Jimbo instead of O. Jimbo with Aranda is going to be so good

Again, not much to consider. A&M made the same move for the head coach at Florida State who was a few years removed from a National Championship and recruiting exceptionally well. That kind of money and pay raise is tough to refuse. It’s not a knock on LSU, possible on O to a certain extent but that’s speculation. Big guaranteed money is running this show.

Again it’s a very risky move

A&m where defensive coordinators go to burn

Agree. Risk involved in every move, even staying. I’m assuming large guaranteed money. A&M has not done well with coordinators. But there is a new coach over there. But let’s not draw on history with players and coaches who weren’t around just three years ago. “The Cubs will never win, its risky to go there” “The Saints will never win, why would Drew Brees go there”. A new staff and leadership changes everything

On your assumption, no great O coordinator should ever entertain LSU. Regardless of talent or if a new HC was hired.

I could bump SOOOOOOOOOOOO many threads saying the same with Chavis’ name in place of Jimbo’s. I’m sure you had a few.

If you think hiring an old Chavis is comparable to adding Jimbo and Aranda (the combination that every LSU fan wanted two years ago), you are completely delusional.

Maybe the guy loves living in Baton Rouge? It’s a lovely place to live, after all.
