Every situation is different. Forgiveness for not only others but yourself goes a long way in life and growing as a person

Did you sex it up again when trying to make it work? I just don't think I could ever bang my wife again and not be thinking about that

quote:Yeah, and now the dude she cheated on me with is "stepdad' (they're not married, but live together). So I really had to dig deep and set aside my animosity for junior's sake. The silver lining, though, is that it forced me to be honest enough with myself to admit that I wasn't happy before she cheated, so I'm much better off, overall. We all get along very well & work together as it relates to junior, so I guess the outcome is about as good as you could reasonably hope for. But the whole ordeal has made me realize just how selfish cheating really is.
That sucks man... I can understand how that would be tough as hell.

Slept with a lady of the night once overseas when we were broken up for about 3 weeks.

My friend trying doing it after he caught her getting dicked. It drove him crazy. He was missing work to spy on her and lost his job. He put some type of tracker on her vechicle. They finally broke it off for good. She told another friend that she was screwing around on him even after they got back together. A rumor has it that she gave him genital warts after cheating.... moral to the story... once a whore always a whore

Sure it is. Of course you have to be mature about the situation.
Yea. I've been on both sides of the fence. When your indiscretions were during a fricked up time in your life and meaningless in the big picture, you can be self-aware enough to accept the same if she has done it as well.
There's no black/white answer with so many variables in play.

What about the 50 guys that railed her before you did?

Not for me. Been there, tried that and I couldn’t get the image out of my head of my woman getting railed by another guy.
Now this is just a matter of perspective.
I'm like Go Girl! get ya freak on.

Some people like to see their wife get plowed while hiding in the closet.
I don't condemn it, it's not my boat. But yeah cheating can sometimes be surmounted for a while.

Amen....
Matthew 18: 21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times?” 22Jesus answered, “I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy-seven times!
On the other hand (and as mentioned earlier), forgiving is different from forgetting.
My Dad, a religious man, said you can forgive the guy for stealing but you are never going to put him in charge of the church bank account.

Or the mistrust when she is "going out with friends".
I'm pretty sure after one fricks around the going out with the girls or guys thing is over.
Never understood that anyway. Yea I want to be in a relationship with you but I still want to go troll without you giving me death stairs from across the bar. Which in understandable but WTF are you doing in a relationship in the first place.
eta: not you personally, but in general.

I prefer to sit outside an open window with a cold beer in my hand enjoying the sounds.
