The only thing that matters is the W or the L.

Team stats prove poor choices in the RED zone

I said this yesterday, but nobody cares. We played well enough to win other than the kicking game. Our ST overall was pretty inexcusable, but other than that, we actually played OK.

Winning the statistical battle in a game you lost on the scoreboard only helps those programs that benefit from the "eye test".

LSU is NOT one of those programs.

We win the stat battle against ND, Bama, and UF last year, but all three are losses?
What's the common denOminator?

It comes down to not getting any points early when LSU should have had at least six. After the second missed field goal, I told my wife that LSU would lose the game by a few points.

But other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?

Did you enjoy watching us play? As it has been for about 4 years now, it just isn't fun to watch. Winning is fun by the way, that's how we get over most of the not being enjoyable to watch. I'd rather look bad winning than good losing, but why not look good winning most of the time? It is an option.

Aren’t we all tired of repeatedly saying that the best team (us) lost the game?? Or that we have the best athletes by far on the field, yet continue to lose games that we should clearly have won. It’s been overdue to clean house, minus Aranda and terminate all the egotistical personalities, including Alleva, that brings segregation to our club each season. I’m so tired of LSU hiring the, “he’s such a great motivator, or he’s such a great recruiter, or he has such a great personality!”...ala Coach O, Les Miles, Johnny Jones, Trent Johnson, and I will even go as far as also saying Dale Brown. Yeah, I said it! All those characteristics are meaningless if you CAN’T coach the X’s and O’s of the game! Clean house and start from scratch, if not, expect the same thing to occur for the next umteenth years....Insanity at its best...

I never said I was happy with the loss, but I can still give credit where it's due along with criticism. Some of the hyperbole assumptions, jumping to conclusions, and in some cases attacks on here were pretty hilarious actually. We actually played pretty well against a good team.
