It's why the NFL playoff format is much superior as it doesn't give a flying frick about style points and only cares about the right number of W's and L's.

well, most of the time they get it right but when a team that finishes 7-9 wins its division and gets to host a playoff game it isn't very appealing.

that of course doesn't happen that often though.

College Football does have a flawed system (most flawed) of the major sports to me but its not like every year we see these goofy loopholes exposed.

this year wasn't a particular strong year for college football in my opinion. You saw a bunch of big name programs either continue to struggle (you know who you are) or just slip up and have a bad year.

I still can't believe CBS made Alabama @ Vanderbilt a 2:30 CbS game. Back in the day, that game wasn't even a lock for the WJTC game of the week for a 11:30am kick.

the Pac 12 didn't make a lot of noise.

Michigan continued to be overrated and didn't have one quality win all year.

Yet some yahoo was on here the other day trying to build a case for Wisconsin getting screwed out of the playoffs. Said it was a big deal that they beat Michigan at home by 14 points. If the dude was just joking then it was a good one.

People wanted the Notre Dame-Miami showdown to be a deal again and it really wasn't.

Alabama made it to the CFB Final in a year where there were 4 coaching changes made its in division when all was said and done.

Georgia didn't have many worries in the East as Florida fell hard and Tennessee continued to stew in a pot of misery.

i mean is it a surprise that there is such a big stink about how things turned out??
