MMmmmmm. I disagree.
OSU lost pretty badly to Iowa. If that's their only loss, I say Alabama still gets in over OSU.
It is a very safe bet to bet on Alabama to win it all, if you do it before every season because they are almost guaranteed to be in the playoffs.
That's my take. If you like money you'll follow my advice.

Better wins than bama and actually had a better loss than bama
Narrative went to tOSU because it was easier to sway the result to Alabama in that head to head comparison

Objectively, they had a better resume than Bama(and maybe even Ohio State). But you couldn't have watched the B1G Championship Game and wanted them in the playoff. Either of them.

It is hindsight. Look, I do not believe Alabama should have gotten in at all. But if this was something everyone knew beyond a doubt, why won’t you all betying tens of thousands of dollars on Ohio State? Are you that sure that Alabama won’t win the national championship. While I hope they do not, if you believe that they won’t with 100 percent certainty wouldn’t you bet tens of thousands of dollars for them not to win the championship?
