With zero facts whatsoever, maybe Canada is the problem, maybe Ensminger is not getting hired, maybe Ensminger has called plays since the Troy game. Point being no one knows shite yet but by all means run around screaming. Lol I'm actually enjoying this one

I’ve never seen a board pre-pre melt before the current hire has even officially left yet.

There are some overreactions, no doubt. But I'm not sure how you could look at the situation and not be a little concerned. If Canada was the problem why did O make such a shitty hire? If he isn't the problem why is he being pushed out? Are you not concerned our 2 young QBs now have to learn another system?

Maybe O and Alleva didn’t properly vet a candidate and now we’re going to pay an OC 3 million not to coach.

Concerned and screaming like girls predicting all the shite they are, they are two different. Be concerned but let's wait and see how things unfold first. Go read just the topics on page one.

As for hiring Canada, his past should have definitely been an issue.

100% true. I'm certainly concerned, but I try not to melt before the dust settles and I can form a somewhat educated opinion.

That said if O hires SE full time...well then... let's light up the torches and pass out the pitch forks!

Easy. You realize that you have no control over the decisions being made. You are merely an observer with possibly the tiniest, most minuscule of financial impact on the nearly 1 billion dollar business. Once you realize that and start enjoying the things you DO have control over, little else will matter.

Fun stuff. Watching grown men obsess over something they have no control over, have no real knowledge of why he was let go, also, all the speculation of who the next OC is going to be.

Classic!

God these posts are so lazy. I'm here to discuss LSU football. It's an LSU football message board. I fully understand I have no direct impact on the program or the business. I have a life and family and job and shite that I actually legitimately care about that affect my life and happiness. LSU football is just one of my favorite hobbies so I like to discuss it, occasionally in a passionate manner. Is that OK with you?

Fact: O hired Canada.

Fact: O didn't make it through a half season before the AD had to call a group meeting between head coach and coordinators.

Fact: O's first OC, probably the most crucial coaching position on his staff for him to get right, particularly after his guarantees of him hiring the best available, is being replaced after 1 season.

Fact: if O doesn't slam dunk the next OC hire, LSU football is screwed.

Fact: the LSU powers that be should have cleaned house top to bottom before the Les Miles/Jimbo/Herman/O debacle ever occurred.

The only thing that can save CEO and LSU is making a homerun hire at OC. I don't think you guys are looking at the big picture here. Any coach sitting in an 18 yo qbs living room with his parents is gonna ask them. Do you really want your son mixed up in that mess? They can't coach QBs they don't have stabilty in the offense and they have a former DL coach dictating thr offense.

If it was my son I would day hell no!

The melts are over the top for sure. That said, it does appear to be a little unstable under O at times and this is one of those times.

In reality, O and Canada must despise each other and Canada wants out. This has been in the works to some degree for the last month or more. I would suspect the new OC is already identified and this will be resolved quickly.

I doubt it’s Ensminger and more likely someone with past ties to Ole Miss or USC.

He isn’t getting $3 million. Damn, you people are so fricking retarded. He would have been fired already if this was the case. The two parties agreed on a settlement.
