Greg McMahon. Was Saints special teams coordinator before (lots of ppl say he was garbage) but was on LSU shadow staff past season.

Yep but at the end of the day they will never flat out stop doing business with LSU. The water from the NOLA public schools to LSU will never run dry. I wouldnt mind Joseph as recruiting coordinator and offensive assistant, bring in another WR coach that understands the physicality needed on every down in the SEC. Our WR corp with the exception of Chark and Gage played soft and for how athletic and big they are to be non factors was a joke. The WRs love Mickey but on two separate occasions two of our current WRs said they learned more from their respective hs coaches in terms of technique.

Move Joseph to special teams and offensive assistant, maybe get a guy like Tony Hull from Kansas as RB coach and move Robinson to WRs. Robinson is to me our most underrated assistant, he has a wealth of knowledge coaching WR.s and anyone who coached Megatron up is doing something right.

TBL I see you said to help MJ, a week and a half ago I was told that there will be two coaches gone after the bowl. One being MC which is happening as we speak and the other was MJ. I think MJ will be gone with the way he recruited this year, hell he whiffed on most of the NOLA kids. Supposedly he was hired last year to sure up the NOLA area, and he didn’t.

That really would not surprise me!

Our passing game is a priority for O.

Geebus what a trainwreck. The whole "let's get the band back together" idea is garbage. It only worked for the Blues Brothers and John Belushi and Carrie Fisher are dead.

Sark in Louisiana is scary. I don't know if/how he has his personal problems under control but that is concern 1. Concern 2 is the ATL offense this season has been offensive and the complete blame for that has been laid at his feet. I've watched some of their games and am like WTF are they doing on O. Concern 3 is while put in a tough spot at Bama, that after Kiffen time was crap.

Ensm in and of itself would signal the end.

I feel that the target is Sark. Simple based off the connection with USC/O and they probably talk often. He gave a massive hint when he mentioned the Offense at USC. Might have been discussing this for a while. Also, Sark has been getting heat for the Falcons Offense this year, might be told to be looking. Some will bitch about that hire, if it were to happen. In my opinion, that would be a massive upgrade in philosophy scheme and coaching that hasnt happened at LSU the past 10 years.

Sark would be a great hire. I don't get the hate for the former USC coaches. There is nothing wrong with coaches hiring people they have worked with in the past. And by all measure, the ones we have hired (it's only two) are stellar.

Why was the O line coach basically an intern since he left USC?

But yeah nobody will bitch about Sark being hired.

If Sark is hired, he’s the best OC we have had since Jimbo.

Because he wasn't? Assistant position coaches are legit jobs in the NFL and are a common way for college coaches to get into the NFL.

I would consider an assistant position coach in the NFL to be equal to a college position coach in most situations.

Agreed. One thing that we've been missing for the past 10 years is a guy who can really mold the quarterbacks. Sark's philosophy seems to mesh with what O wants to do, and it can work very well if you have a reliable QB. With the two young talents that we have waiting in the wings at that position, it's crucial that we get someone in here that can teach them while they're still teachable. I think Sark would be the right man for that job.

For a young guy trying to break into the NFL maybe. He was an assistant O line coach in the NFL last decade then went to Tennessee and USC then had to go back to the same level in the NFL for the past 4 years, which I'm sure was also a pretty solid pay cut.

Everyone questioning Sark since this comment but he also included F as a possible answer. So could be Ensminger and someone not listed on here but mentioned somewhere in the thread like TBL hinted too earlier?

So, TBL

A.) Ensminger
B.) Sark
C.) Mike Yurcich
D.) A & B
E.) A & C
F.) A & still not listed

How much patience is there among higher-ups right now for Alleva and O?

What are the movers’ opinions about Ensminger as OC, and if next season’s record is worse than this one?
