Maybe...maybe...Bill Brasky.

Just about any Democrat who could win the nomination in 2020 could beat Trump. Neither a majority nor a plurality of voters support/supported Trump and he has less support now than when he was elected and when he came into office. Hillary Clinton was the only Democrat Trump could beat even though he couldn't get more voters to vote for him than she could. And HRC is not running again, Thank God.

How do you figure this?

the average of polling clearly shows Trump's approval rating less than 40%.

Even accepting your premise for the sake of argument, the biggest wildcard is Trump's health. He'll be 74 years old, in the most stressful job in the world, doesn't eat right, doesn't exercise, and has a family history of dementia. I think the odds of him being in fit condition to run are less than 50-50.

Here's the deal, georgewest:
If the economy remains sound and in expansion mode, if unemployment remains at full employment levels, if the collapse of ISIS gets more media attention, if an infrastructure bill gets passed....I think he stands a very good chance of being reelected.
Incumbency tends to be an advantage.
I think if enough actual american factors like the economy remain positive, he has a very good chance of winning again.
There would be no good reason to vote him out besides dislike of tweeting.

Y'all will laugh as usual, but I remain steadfast in my belief that Joe Biden would crush Trump. He can pull the blue collar votes from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin that trump was able to lure in 2016.

Realistic? 3 years out? Yes, several. So much can happen between now and then. 2018 will give us some context though.
It will be Kamala/Booker/Michelle/Warren one of those combos and they will be destroyed
Trump is going to get 400 electoral votes

I understand your logic, Hail.
But, as our economy has improved over the year, Trump's approval rating has declined. He is personally disliked by many, many people who view him as an undisciplined buffoon since he has been in office. When he speaks, he sounds like someone who has no clue what he is doing. Outside of his hardcore base, he inspires no confidence at all.
And, the Mueller investigation continues and there has been no good news for our President in that.

I hope you are right, but your confidence is worrisome.

Another wildcard is Korea. Presidents have been kicking that can down the road all these years for a reason. Whenever it blows up, it will be a shitshow at best, and the president, whoever he is at the time, will get the blame.

Cory Booker will be a problem for Maga.
