Communist are so fricking stupid. Communism goes against every natural human behavior and instinct.
They naively believe that everyone will collectively do the same amount of work to achieve the same amount of "resources". It doesn't work that way.
It's the same reason communes don't work.
Communism only works in fantasy.

I read the arictlw out of boredom and l actually agree with the author one one point. The greatest threat to capitalism is automation, and at some point the government will need to step in when 95% of humanity is not needed in the labor force.
The difference is I think pretty hardcore socialism will happen in a few hundred years, and the author lives in a fantasy land where everyone owns nothing and we all work for the benefit of society. Except a few totalitarian beurucrats who run all aspects of life.

If these fools were really commie, they would recognize that the true goal is surely global communism and they should gladly give up virtually all of what they earn and gladly live in a barren one room government apartment, with a communal bathroom down the hall, so the billions of truly poor who live in 3rd world squalor can have more.

I agree with him about automation putting people out of work. Society is going to change because of it. I don't think communism is the answer, though.

Idiots like this think they are so smart and clever because they are going against traditional America that communism 'is actually cool and we should totally try it'
Despite the fact of it's proven failures, morons like this still want communism because it just sounds good. And they call conservatives stupid for being skeptical of a system that is a proven failure and wanting to stick with a system that has been proven to work for 240 years now.
