I know it will be disappointing to not sign a QB this cycle. However, I think we have to look outside the box for some guys to come in. This includes transfers and the JUCO route

Here are a list of names that 247 came up with who could possibly be making a move. Lots of interesting names.

Eason would be great, but not eligible to play for LSU next season.

The grad transfer route makes a lot of sense . Bring in a seasoned guy to compete against a sophomore a freshman and McMillan.

Pittsburgh’s Ben DiNucci and Thomas MacVittie will transfer as well.

I know nothing about these 2, but hopefully Canada would have the inside scoop and edge here.

Kendall or Stevens would be highly interesting. Most of the others are "meh" on paper, but I don't know much about them or our relationship with them. I thought the prior staff (fat lot of good that does us), might have briefly looked at Stevens.

But, I bet Canada and, maybe, Aranda know him.

How about we get a high school QB and coach him up like the rest of the schools normally do.

Got 2 last year, if we dont get one this year, a transfer makes sense. Whether they win the job or add depth.

I'd love Buechele if possible. When I've watched him it looks like he's got a pretty damn good arm and can scramble as well.

Yeah these 2 definitely. Buechele showed some nice grit and ability his freshman year. I would like this add.

Mett established the pipeline. Eason is definitely BR bound.

After all, 46.9 percent of four and five-star quarterbacks from 2011 to 2014 opted to transfer. What’s more, 52.6 percent of Elite 11 QBs transferred from 2009 to 2013.

Wow, crazy stat.

LSU needs to make a better effort to recruit stud high school quarterbacks instead of relying on transfer QBs.

Mayfield is a transfer, won the Heisman and is in the playoffs.

Coker was a transfer who won a natty at bama.

It happens. If you need a QB and there's a transfer that's worth it, you get them.
