Once tax reform is signed into law, AT&T* plans to invest an additional $1 billion in the United States in 2018 and pay a special $1,000 bonus to more than 200,000 AT&T U.S. employees — all union-represented, non-management and front-line managers. If the President signs the bill before Christmas, employees will receive the bonus over the holidays.

just thankful the economy is doing well so they don't have to announce layoffs of 12k right before Christmas like they did after bush tanked the economy 10 years ago

I’ll give you credit, you’re the only progressive posting today. However, all of your posts are imaginary and what if scenarios. Real life is proving the good tax cuts are doing.
By the way, are you planning to donate your money to the IRS this tax season?

I and many friends have had experience with these companies.. I've had DirecTV for 12 years now. I wouldn't say they are great products.

Does anybody not realize that AT&T is on a huge marketing campaign for a merger that would make all of this newfound graciousness way more than worth every penny they are giving out right now?

So because they want to make more money, handing out bonuses is a bad thing?
Do you even understand how business works?

I still wouldn’t approve of their merger, but would thank them for starting the avalanche of compensation in the wake of the tax bill and shite-canning of net neutrality.

You guys saying DirecTv has given you loyalty discounts are full of it.

A literal response to this on Twitter was some prog saying "they are just returning a small portion of the money they have stolen from the workers for decades."
