You can get a base corvette discounted to around $50K now. Over 20% discounts on 2017's. Nicely optioned for a little more. Z06 $15K mark downs.
Mid-engine in the works also.

Trashy white dudes who live in Florida drive corvettes, no thanks.

A lot of bang for the buck. I dont see any better sport car options for 50K.

Can’t imagine the insurance on them

Ross downing Chevrolet in Hammond has some killer deals on vettes especially the Z06, almost 17 grand off. Some one looking for a vette might want to check them out.

Thanks, Ross.

If you decide to buy one you need to be prepared for a long term relationship. There’s a glut of used ones out there for sale. My uncle has one he’s tired of but says he can’t get a decent offer for it.

Does a gold neckchain come with it?

Almost got a used one from my geometry teacher in the early 70's, glad that fell through, I wouldn't be typing on this or any board now.

When I was 14 I considered buying one every day.

A free herringbone and a pair of jorts with every purchase.

I’d love to have a 76-78 vette. I don’t really have the room for one, but if I was going to get a vette it would be around that era. A 67 with a 427 would be a wet dream, but that’s a lot of cash. Same for 63 split window.

My aunt still has a vette convertible that she bought new in 95. It only has 20-some thousand miles on it.

I have been tempted to buy a Z06 for track days but I just can't bring myself to drive one, plus it helped me avoid them when they had all the overheating issues on the track.
I might be more swayed if the interior was better, and though they are better than they used to be everything else has improved also.

I’d love one, but I’m actually too tall to fit comfortably in one. I’m not OT tall, where 5’11”=6’3”.

Meh. My truck nuts would drag the ground.

I was 21 and purchased a 2008 Corvette.
Insurance with State Farm was $1200/6mos for 50/100 coverage.
Switched to Geico and it dropped to $720/6mos for the same coverage.
I'm guessing the average annual mileage on a Corvette is relatively low, and the average age of a Corvette owner is usually older.
