I shoot a 150gr hornady superperformance sst. It does done the trick for me. Never rad one run more than 75 yards and he was gut shot. Its a little faster than a traditional 150 gr so it drops a couple inches less at 300 yds and a never shot much further than that.

Then get a .270 and shoot 130gr bullets.
