It’s not that it’s that painful, it’s just a weird feeling that can make you pass out. Last time I pulled them out myself even. Afterwards the feeling finally being able to breathe again was glorious.

If you actually need the surgery and it’s done properly the end result is definitely worth it.

I had it done when I was a senior in high school. Changed my life. Used to have sinus headaches every week. I'm never stopped up

I will be having a fractured septum repaired in just three weeks also a pylop removed. The doctor that I am going to was pretty honest not it will suck for a week. He did say that he does not do the gauze because it is not a good experience instead does just stints. He also said that it is not nearly as bad as it was 20, 15, even five years ago He said that the surgery had made huge advances from the horror stories of the past.

I can only hope that it is like he says, reading these posts has name rather nervous.

My brother had it, and says the same. Would not recommend doing it. I know someone else that had balloon sinusplasty and were happy with the results.
