Footballscoop
Potential hiring they might make for recruiting personnel side of football operations. Just chatter but Pruitt and Thomas share same agent.

Note: Thomas did turn down several opportunities in NFL to at LSU with O.

Whole family is Tennessee alums, dad used to sit on the board of trustees, been a Tennessee fan his whole life.

If he leaves LSU, it's not because of money or who his agent is.

Damn. I was hoping the shite show hiring process would have ended this talk. Oh well, can't fault him for going "home".

Can we trade Alleva and keep AT instead?

I would offer to top anything Tennessee gives him
But I can understand him leaving if he did. Surely there is someone in the LSU family that can fill his role?

False. But just keep spouting whatever nonsense you can come up with that makes O looks decent.

The truth is Thomas could have went back to Tennessee at anytime over the last several yrs. I will let you connect the dots as to why now all of a sudden Thomas is ready to leave for Tennessee.

Over the last several yrs all of the so called insiders preached that Thomas came back to LSU after a yr at USC because he loved LSU and it was the place he felt most comfortable. They also said he would never leave LSU unless it was for a job in the NFL as his dream job is to become a GM in the NFL one day. You don't think O could pull some strings to get Thomas a raise if the only reason he is leaving is for money?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Ponamsky soon gets a nice promotion

when our waiver expires next year, what's so irreplaceable about Thomas? he's a beast contacting recruits but he's losing that ability next year (i still have no idea how he was allowed to do it this year)

Frank Wilson did more for recruiting than Austin ever did.
LSU is going to be fine with or without Austin.
There's a lot to criticize Alleva for, this ain't one of them.

Do some tiger fans really not understand how important Austin Thomas is to our program? If we lose him that is a major blow.
