I have a collection of Sports Illustrateds signed by the LSU athlete on the cover. I am missing Chad Lavalais's signature on this one. Already have Billy Cannon's and obviously cannot get Charlie McClendons, bt would like Chads. Any help would be appreciated.

I stood in line by him at the 13th Gate one time. Nice fella.

That's all I got.

Last I was told, he was working at a parish prison in Avoyelles Parish. Good luck

Lavalais is the toughest tiger I can remember but I'm aging less than gracefully.

Pushing the center back onto Eli's foot in Oxford in 2003 might be a top 10 moment in LSU history.

If Eli gets them in FG range, they probably win at home with momentum going into overtime and they go to the SECCG in our place and we never win the national title.

Watched him play for Marksville one time. He rushed for about 200 yards from the TE position

I was on the referee crew for many of his HS games. Kid's talent completely out-classed everyone else on the field. Always knew there was something special about that guy.

I played against him and you couldn't be more right.

Exactly right. That's the only time I've been to Oxford. What a game.

you need lots of work. go back and watch saban's defenses even in the NFL and come back again and say he relies only on recruits.

I hope you are a kid and not one of those grown men seeking the signature of another man. Never understood adults who did this unless they were running a memorabilia store and selling signed stuff for $

I can vouch for this poster's intent, it is for his personal collection, not for resale.

I can also state with certainty that the list of things you can't understand is infinitely longer than average.

plus about 5 more to frame. Its the only collection of its kind that I know of. 3 most valuable ones are 1968 and 69 signed by Pete Maravich and the 1958 preseason guide signed by Paul Dietzel, Billy Cannon, Gus Kinchen and Warren Rabb.
