Christian McCaffrey has dropped out of the top 10

I’ve only watched the two games against the Saints and I’m not impressed. I’d be disappointed if we spent a High first rounder on that.

To be fair, I think he would be much better in an offense like ours. They don't know how to use him in Carolina.'

That said, I think Kamara is the more complete player.

I said in the leadup to the draft CMC looked to me like a poor man's Reggie Bush. Exactly the same size, a little slower, and a little less dynamic. Never got the hype with him.

Yeah he's been a subpar rusher, and most of his receiving yards against us came on blown coverage where he was running free.

Not coincidentally those are two of his better receiving games. Allen's defense still leaves guys running wide open underneath.

He's faster than Kamara & is probably just as good in the passing game (route running & catching the ball, but not run after the catch). Besides that, Kamara is better at everything (especially running the ball). I think a poor man's Reggie Bush (as a rookie) is a great comparison. Bush was a bigger threat to take one the house.

Kamara is pretty damn hard to bring down. Does anyone remember that swing pass that McCaffrey caught against us? Tyeler Davison basically just lifted him straight off his feet & drove him into the ground. I've never seen Kamara get man handled like that.

McCaffrey should eventually be a pretty good player when he learns how to run between the tackles (or just run the ball in general), but I doubt he ever surpasses Kamara.
