Quite the turnaround after starting his career 10-25 at Ole Miss.

2013: 6-2 as USC interim coach

2016: 6-2 as LSU interim coach

2017: 9-3 as LSU head coach, with Citrus Bowl vs ND upcoming on Jan 1st.

I didn't really care about his time at ole miss.

Neither should any other Lsu fan.
It's irrelevant.

A relatively positive thread about Coach O, yeah this'll go over well.

Is it too late to lead a Clay Travis type revolt?

So if we beat Notre Dame, the head coach at LSU, one of the premier programs in the country, will have a .500 career record.

That’s not very encouraging.

Wouldn't this be 7-2 with the bowl win?

His past record doesn't matter. It's what he does going forward. Some posters will always dislike O no matter what. And some posters are wanting him to fail just so they can say "I told you so"....Must be miserable for some of these m'fers to live their lives as an LSU football fan.

All that matters is the current season and the plan for the future. Recruiting is what will define every coach. After all who pays $75 million / 10 years contract to a 6-6 coach?
