April is Flower and Garden Festival. There will 15-20 food booths and special concerts in Epcot. Don't do restaurant reservations, just eat the festival every day

We love it..come check out our 2 bedroom in January.

So we aren’t doing moonlight magic. According to Disney, “complimentary” means $120 per person. Uh. No thanks.

We are officially going now..... advice possibly for the days we'll be out there?? Dec 29,30,31...LSU Game on New Years Day. In the 3 days with kids ages 1,3,10 what would you hit? j/w...Also which park would you leave out? My wife said Epcot I think? I'm just starting my Disney research and learning...If we can be smart about it and navigate well within the crowds then I think we'll be able to max out our fun! lol..
We are staying 10 min from Disney...

Backstage boatride (forget the name).
Then you have Mission Space and Test Track on the other side of Future world. And we haven't even gone to the countries yet, which have some entertainment value like the Mexican boatride. Even as a kid I liked walking through Japan and picking out an oyster for a pearl. EPCOT is also one of the best places to meet characters.

We are at the airport about to leave for Orlando. We can’t wait. Fast passes locked and loaded. What’s the deal with the late night at Disney? (Extra magic hours) We get that for staying in resort right?

Yes Extra Magic Hours are for resort guests. The park that is having Extra Magic hours will usually be the busiest. We usually avoid that park. One thing, the park that has PM Magic Hours tends to be less crowded the next morning. Good luck and say hi to Mickey for me! We will be back in the spring.

Pay attention to your MDE App. It was pretty spot on last time we were there on wait times. You can also order at many QS dining locations from it. Make sure to get a Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale at Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom and sip it on the veranda for me. I also suggest the Night Monkey. There are some very nice selections on the small plate menu as well. I suggest the House Smoked Kobe style Beef Brisket Poutine, the cheese selection, and the bread service. Have fun!

It only makes sense if you’re taking more than one trip per year where the cost of buying tickets twice is more than the single purchase of an AP. And it’s important to take into account the different AP tickets some of which have blackout dates.
What you do is buy a discount ticket through a third party site at the biggest discount you can find. Enter the park and go to guest services who will upgrade your ticket to an AP and will give you a credit at the full price of the ticket your already purchased. If the original discount was $40 ticket and you are upgrading 4 tickets, you save $160.

We got fast passes! 
The wife was on the phone all night with one of her friends that has the scoop on Disney and they mapped out everything for us...So ready for the madness to ensue..
Any recommendations on things outside of Disney to possible eat/check out? New Years Day we may be looking for something to do in that area after attending the bowl game....

Day 1 in the books. At MK
We relaxed and took our time. This week the lines are really small. Some rides, we walked right on. Splash Mountain, pirates had no one. (It’s a little cold here) Peter Pan and 7DMT has long lines but we rose those first with no problem.
My parents took our 3 year old for her nap and my wife and I managed to ride every ride in the park we hadn’t already done! That took 3 hours
13 hours in the park may have killed us though.
A few Notes:
Use the app.
I was not prepared for all the fat people on scooters!!!!
Christmas at Disney is amazing. We love Christmas and decorations, the works, so it’s awesome here.
I haven’t done the math on the meal plan, but so far it seems worth it. A burger and fries is $16, a drink it $3-4 so $20 for lunch.
