“Apply without disturbing colony”, while being asked to immediately apply water. Well doesn’t that disturb them?
It just doesn’t make any sense.
How do you baws deal with this dilemma? Thanks

Ant poison to kill ants. While effective there are so many more entertaining ways to kill those little spawns of Satan.

Encircle mound with poison at base. Wet poison. Seems simple enough.

Buy an ant killer that doesn't need to be watered in

Ants are the enemy of termites.
I'd rather keep the ants.

I thought it was grasshoppers in that movie

Gasoline + match
no that is wrong, the match ruins it and saves their lives
put gasoline, first around the mound encircling it, then over it AND DO NOT LIGHT IT
the fumes are what kills them, they go down underground through all the passages and kills everything, unlike poisons that kill maybe 1/3 of the mound and they just move over to a new spot.
try it, it works, and its a "permanent" solution, but it does kill the grass too. i figure i rather have a few dead spots for a week or two then ant piles everywhere

Do you mean fire ant mover? That's all that most of them do.

I just thought that stuff was for snorting.

Get that Ortho orthene shite. Works perfectly.

Magnifying glass and kill them one at a time.
Posted on 12/2/17 at 4:24 pm to tankyank13
Get a watering can and water lightly
Posted on 12/2/17 at 4:25 pm to tankyank13
Don’t kick it first is what it’s saying.

They want you to wait to disturb them so they come up through the poison. Don’t doubt me. I know my stuff.

Truetiger knows what he is talking about. My feet look like a teenagers face with the ant bites... I would rather have that then the frickers chewing my house up..I let nature handle the termites. just keep the wood off the ground. If cut any shrubs or trees next to your house get some termite poison at HD or Lowes.

Try this old school method.
Get yourself a pair of shovels and someone to help you.
Find two separate fire ant mounds.
Scoop the top half off of each mound and swap them.
Sit back and watch the carnage while the rival ants kill each other.
