There definitely needs to be some crow-eating mf'ers, but I have a hard time getting too down on people for being upset.
I'd take Troy over half of the teams in the SEC this year and they'd compete with everyone except maybe the top 3.

We still don't know much about Miami. They may get blown out by Clemson this weekend. They will be a good team, but I think they lose quite a bit from their defense and that is what has carried them thus far. Georgia also loses a good bit on defense and their first and second RBs. Those will still be tough games, but I think both those teams are still somewhat unproven and will take a step back next year.

I’m not considering built-in excuses for a tough schedule, roster changes that aren’t properly addressed, etc.
I know that may not be fair, but it’s difficult to predict a schedule’s strength before the fact. Miami may not look the same. Georgia may not look the same. Hell even Alabama may not look the same.
I can’t resign myself to being happy with 2 consecutive 9-win seasons (barring some unforeseeable calamity) when we were supposed to improve from Miles.

You serious? Troy lost to Boise St. and South Alabama, both by two scores. They aren't a cupcake, but they would finish last in the SEC.

I admit to a near total melt; didn’t expect a winning season. Was figuring on at best 4-8, or worse. Don’t ever trust my ability to predict how a season will go, no matter how much I beg or cry. Lol. Crow is nearly edible with some salt, cayenne and beer.

They wouldn't. They don't have near the depth. Look was happened to Bama after losing a couple Olinemen and linebackers. Imagine what would happen to Troy once they had injuries to deal with. That doesn't mean they aren't a good team and for one game could give anyone in the SEC and black eye.
That's just too logical to bring to this discussion though.

Yea, but scheduling doesn't work to where you only play the crappy teams from each division. And even then, the crappy teams for the most part have superior talent to Troy.
