One more infraction from an automatic one year suspension. Seems a tad bit too risky to me.
EDIT: actually, at least two years.

Why was he cut? He hasnt played that bad this year, has he?

I'll take Sterling Moore. Always thought Collins was one of our weakest DBs at LSU. Couldn't ever find the ball in the air.

He's fricking terrible. No thanks.

Huh. I have no clue if he has been worth a shite or not.

Only reason they did not cut him before is because of how well he played down the stretch including the Superbowl.

Hm. Where did he play college ball?

Chemistry on Payton’s teams has been crucial. Maybe Saints are better off without him, sorry

This is the thing that the average fan doesn’t understand. Sticking a good statistical player in an open spot doesn’t always translate to success on the field. So much of having a good secondary comes down to communication and experience as a unit. This guy may be a better physically than Harris, but he’d be starting out on the ground floor with a new unit and he clearly has some intangibles that the Falcons didn’t like. Why take the risk?
