Mired in a six-game losing streak, the Denver Broncos have fired offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, sources tell ESPN.
The Broncos replaced McCoy with quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Broncos, who are 3-7 and in last place in the AFC West, are 24th in the league in points per game at 18.3.
This was the first year that McCoy, 45, was the offensive coordinator on Vance Joseph's staff. He had been the head coach of the San Diego Chargers from 2013 to '16.
Musgrave, 50, was the offensive coordinator for the Oakland Raiders from 2015 to '16 and the Broncos' quarterbacks coach this season.

Mark schlereth had an interesting theory on PMT last Friday.
Peyton Manning ruined the colts and the broncos by winning with subpar talent. The front offices saw skill players putting up numbers and winning, but failed to realize it was because Peyton was that good, not that the skill guys were good. So once he got hurt in Indy, they go 2-14. He leaves Denver, and now they can’t do shite on offense and the defense knows if they give up 7 points, it’s over.

Not exactly ruined because they got superbowl out of it, but it definitely allowed bad gm's and coaches way too much time.
He made bad OL look amazing with his decision making and audibles. He made run games better because of his threat.

They won the Super Bowl with him though, not after he left

And when they (broncos) did win it wasn't because of him

That was a really good segment on PMT with him.
I'm curious what the broncos do with Lynch during the offseason.

Except that last year Peyton was carried by the rest of the team.

Weird, you give a guy Brock osweiller and fire him when they don't produce ?
Posted on 11/20/17 at 9:43 am to castorinho
They don’t win that year with Brock playing the whole season and playoffs
8-2 with him, 5-4 without him that year.
