I was there. About 4 rows up from the endzone where Mauck scored his TDs.

I was a freshman at LSU at the time, the only tickets me and my buddy could get were directly in the middle of the UT fans.
We were two lone soldiers in the middle of a sea of orange. They talked so much shite it was ureal, your program and state are a joke, LSU doesnt deserve to ever be in any kind of title game, we are about to play for a title, etc..
The melt was amazing when we started to pull away.
They talked mad shite when Rohan went down and then were extremely rustled when some random dude named Mauck came in and wrecked shite
. I'll never forget cheering for the tigers in the middle of thousands of UT fans.

We had seats on the 50 yard line in the middle of a bunch of UT fans. This game was just a formality to them. They had hotels and plane tickets to Pasadena booked. They were planning shopping trips and where to eat in LA. I could not exaggerate the level of arrogance of these people.

Probably my favorite SECCG experience. Nobody gave us a snowball’s chance in hell of winning, and we turned the college football world upside down that night. Despite being outnumbered, LSU fans were very loud and crazy in the Georgia Dome. Our section was practically shaking from fans jumping up and down. What a great night!
