Take the 14 year old out of the equation and assume just 16+

In your opinion if the girl is over the legal age of consent at the time (assume Still in high school though) and the other party is in their 30’s is it no harm no foul? Not legally, but morally do you see anything wrong with that or is it simply none of our business.

Well, let’s just pretend she was 30 instead of 14, and pretend it was all right. That’s what we will do.

If you believe that he shoved her face towards his dick, no, I thinks it’s both harm and foul, and he should go to jail to get assraped. If you think he was just dating her, it is creepy but not illegal.

Let's say you consider it bad.
Do you consider it "We'll hold it against you for 40 years" bad?
Using your hypothetical of course

That’s a good question. Should the past just be the past and we move on or is this still an issue?

As long as it's consensual and both are legal age (16 in Bama), who am I to judge. That's what the left has been telling me for years.

What if it was your daughter?

If the 2 people are of legal age who are we to say anything. Let them do what they want. I have no issue with that

Honestly I don't think our elected officials should be fornicating. I would rather be ruled over by asexual reptile creatures wearing human skin
Oh wait... I already am

As long as it’s legal, I don’t care who they sleep with. I want them to vote for the things that I sent them there to vote for. If this stuff were true about Roy Moore, he still wouldn’t be more of a scumbag than McCain and McConnell.

I mean. If legal but questionable sexual choices (note, the legal girls say no sex was involved)...... But still...... If legal but questionable choices are "hold it against you 40 years" shite......
Well. Let's just say i don't think there are a lot of people who can pick up stones in that glass house

Well. I sure hope that I'm not ruined for 40 year old legal shite.
I think i speak for pretty much everyone on that.
Ya know. Except for the saints among us

If you had a 16 to 18 year old daughter and a grown arse 32 year old man is coming on to them, wanting to date them, what would you do?

As a Dad, I wouldn’t want my 16 year old daughter hanging around 30 year old men.
But would I judge a person off these decisions that were legal at the time, and even perhaps the norm, 40 years later?
No. No, I would not.

That’s fair, everyone has some sort of skeletons in their closet. There’s no such thing as a perfect politician. Does being 30+ out hitting on high school girls cross a certain line though, and if so can enough time elapse to where the past becomes the past?

I think it is morally wrong for a 30 year old man to sleep with a 16 year old girl yes.

There is something wrong with a 35 year old man chasing 16 y/o waitresses. It may not be illegal. It’s strange AF. And no, if you did that and want to be a public figure US senator, I don’t feel the least bit sorry for you if it bites you in the arse.
I’d say the same thing for an R, a D, an I, or and L.
It frankly sickens me that the same church that has been screaming about sexual morality is willing to ignore all that when one of their own is implicated. It’s one big reason I am no longer an evangelical. I had this funny notion that evangelicals believed Jesus. Shame on me.

As a dad I would have huge issues with a 30+ year old hitting on my teenage daughter even if she were 18. And I would judge the frick out of them, especially if she were still in high school. To me that’s a moral line crossed even if technically legal.

Archonic shapeshifting Draconian lizard overlords. This is what we really should be discussing. Not a 30 year old screwing an 18 year old.
