Footballs decline = USA soccer surge?

Read the below article and it got me thinking. With the recent disdain for football with the kneeling and evidence of brain damage, could a societal change from football to soccer happen?
I believe we'll see more and more parents steering their kids from football. Itll be up to US soccer to take advantage of this.

kneeling
Will have zero effect on people playing the game.

Knew there is some hidden undertone
Wait till these NFL haters learn about liberal arse clubs and all the social activism in soccer.

I hate the kneeling more than anyone, but that isn’t going to stop anyone from playing lol.

Hating the NFL, because the product is very poor, is really not hating on it. It's expecting an actual quality product from people who are supposed to be pro's.
NFL football is by far the worst quality of the American Sports leagues. If not for Gambling,Office pools, and fantasy football, they would be begging people to watch.
You watch a hockey game, and it's quality play out there. You watch basketball, and games can be ugly, but play is quality, compared to NFL.
They better start a development league and begin developing QB's,OL,and WR. The Leagues is suffering because of it.
No league is being propped up by Gambling, like NFL is, house of cards, that will soon come crumbling down.

Dallas has had rookie all-pro lineman and a rookie pro-bowl QB. They don’t need a developmental league.
The biggest issue, at least IMO, Is the amount and length of commercial breaks along with the officiating and how it makes playing defense almost impossible.

Try watching a Red Wings game.
Damn it, I made myself sad.

No fricking way, 2 players from 1 team out of 31teams ? Holy shite, i was way off base.
The Qb's from every team are quality, and their backups could fill in anytime needed and quality of play wouldn't suffer.

Offensive line play in the NFL sucks for the most part.

Not Dallas' fault every other team sucks arse as evaluating talent.
Tyron Smith, Zack Martin and Frederick were all first year pro-bowl players along with Dak. Johnathan Cooper, who sucked arse after being a first round pick, is now a solid player in Dallas.
Sounds like every other team aside from New England and a handful of others just suck as franchises as a whole. It isn't a league wide problem like you'd have everyone else believe.

Unless soccer takes hold in the inner cities where kids just go out and play all day on their own it will never take over here.
As long as it's just more suburban parents spending money so some average coach can run them through drills three nights a week we'll never take the next step.

It could have if we had Christian Pulisic as the face of our team heading to the World Cup next year.

Ideally, kids will mainly play soccer and basketball only to pick up (if they choose) tackle football in h.s. The only exception would be for anyone aspiring to be a qb.

Soccer has cte too.
Hoops is the answer. Inexpensive equipment. Ubiquitous rim/backboard availability.
