These Pels are fighting. Yes they are frustrating at times to watch, but they aren't giving up. They're essentially playing with 2 1/2 star caliber players. I'll take 5-5 after are last couple of starts to the seasons.

Pels have done a decent job of getting it done late in several games this season.

They've made it interesting against the lesser teams, but Cousins moves them up a tier in the league. The Pels used to be the team that didn't make enough plays at the end. They have enough talent so that they should be the team to pull these games out. That's why I've been pretty confident they'd be able to keep it around .500 until Rondo returned. They were fortunate to get a lot of bad teams early.

Doesn't look like anyone will pull away in the West. As long as the West continues to stay competitive from 1-10, we'll be in the thick of things. To be honest, at the beginning of the season after Rondo was injured, we all would have been happy knowing that we'd manage a .500 record until Rondo returns. This looks to be the case.

This season kinda reminds me of 2014

Pels were 8-10 after 18 games that year

Rondo has to raise the Pels play because the schedule gets tough enough in mid-late November where the way they've been playing won't get it done against tougher competition.

I agree, the usually high power teams are just muddling along. I think that has to do with the early start to the season. Once these teams get in to game shape, we may see some seperation. We just need to stay close, and then when we get healthy try to make a run. Home games are gonna be super important this season. Be .750 at home and .500 on the road, and thats playoff basketball.

I’m interested in this team winning as opposed to any one player’s succes on the court

I don’t know what more you need to see to stop crying every time a bad play happens from Cousins.

Have you watched Boogie before he came here? It’s a 7 year trend for him.. he’s led a team to 30+ wins once, despite all that talent. I recognize Boogie’s potential and I want him to be a better player and more emotionally stable. There is 7 seasons worth of him doing the same thing, producing losing results. Everyone agreed that if he came here and adjusted his game and attitude we would be better for it.

People would ride AD or Holiday if they acted a bitch like Cousins does on the court. Oh but it’s boogie being boogie.. ya that’s the problem

It’s literally all you come on here to type.

Ya that’s not true bubba

You don't think the front office knew what they were getting in to as far as his attitude when they traded him? Of course they did, but it's on the other players and coach to keep him calm during the game. His technicals in NOLA so far are at a lower rate than when he was with SAC. He is going to complain, that's just who he is.

If only he would just hit the boards harder, he could take some more minutes from Cunningham.

his episodes arent always directed at officials. he has gotten better about the technicals, which is great

like ATL said, gentry did a good job of reeling him in tonight and he came back in a different player

Hasn't he had like 3 techs this season (with a couple rescinded)?

I've only seen 2, against Memphis for speaking to the heckling fan and Dallas last night. The one against Memphis was rescinded and if what Joel and David said last night was true, that the ref gave him the tech because he told him to go away and he didn't, I expect that to get rescinded as well. There was another one that looked like it was on him but multiple people in the game thread said Gentry got that one. So if they rescind the one at Dallas I believe he'll have zero on the season.

Because he's not good at doing it himself. He's not a perfect player but you can get a lot out of him if you have the right structure around him.
