We seem to be overrun with bobcats, catching several on camera's and seeing quite a few during hunts....
What other way besides shooting them during the hunt can we get rid of these fricking cats?

Bobcat populations generally don't grow very large. Depending on where you're at, they're competing with yotes and hogs for food, and yotes and hogs can breed 10x as fast.
What I guess must have happened is that a mama had big litter at the end of last Summer, they all survived last winter and have just have spread out much yet.
I don't think they'll stay together much longer - you'll rarely see more than 2 or 3 bobcats in the same territory very long - a mating couple will hang out a couple, three months, but that's usually it unless it's a mother with kittens.

But if we could talk all the bobcats into eating coons and possums, just thing about how many turkeys we could have.

put some leghold traps under a limb with a Christmas tree ball ornament on it. one of those red glass ones. you will probably catch him by the back leg while he is playing with it.

Bobcats were the number two predator in the Tensas study behind bears.
