Opponents are 38 for 41 kicking FGs against us

Last year and this season. That's 93%.
That is pretty unreal. 25 for 26 last season, 13 for 15 this year. Talk about just shear bad luck.

Two that hurt:
48 yarder just before halftime against Wisconsin
51 yarder against Auburn
Get those two back and our season looks much different.

Last one I remember was I think vs Bama at home in 2008...I think we forced OT by blocking a kick, then Lee/Jefferson threw a bad pick in the end zone to end it in OT. If that was the last one then it's been 9 years

Using the median team from each season:
2016 - ~75%
2015 - ~74%
2014 - ~71%
2013 - ~72%
That's field goal percentage against.
If kickers were 75% against us on those 41 attempts it would be 30 or 31 makes, not 38. So substantially less.
Side note - 2013 North Texas might be one of luckiest teams ever. Teams were 7 for 21 kicking FGs against them for a 33.3% success rate.

Way below 93%. Kickers against LSU last year had a better kicking percentage than the IRL Groza award winner did.

Aranda has a pretty filthy red zone defense. We've probably held more teams to FGs on that side of the field as well.

Anyone remember circa 2000-2006 or so when opposing FG kickers in tiger stadium were like 50%?

That doesn't surprise me. I feel like if you go back even further the numbers are just as bad.
UF this year is the first time I can remember saying "wow we're lucky they missed that kick" since bama 2011.
Teams seem to be pretty automatic against us. Maybe karma for the 04 Oregon St. and 05 Auburn games

The Florida kicker did us a solid.
