Has McCain spent all his POW/war hero capital?

I know it's a common defense to everything he does, even if he's a RINO liberal. At this point, since MCain came onto the main stage of politics for Millennials during the 2007-2008 campaign season, I've heard enough of his war exploits. In the past, I've said I respect him for service and that he has endured what many have not; but at this point, I'm not going to let that make me look past what a cuck he is now and I think many agree. You can respect the guy's service, but recognize he's a cuck beta now. It doesn't give you a blank check to do what you want. Should be ousted from office. I feel bad that Arizona has two crappy senators.

No amount of service could erase or justify the utter BS McCain has pulled during his political career...

He is Exhibit A as to why we need congressional term limits. Dude has been in the Senate alone for 30+ years... and will have served 36 years at the end of his current term.

I have argued against these forever but assholes like McCain, Pelosi, Crying Chuck, McConnell are trying to make me change my mind.

His brand of foreign policy has resulted in the deaths of thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people in the Middle East and North Africa. He will have to answer for all this death and destruction when he meets his maker.

Of course we could lose some very good legislators in that process.
I'd like to see some sort of super-majority threshold for incumbents. If you have been there six years and doing a great job you should have to get 55% of the vote to retain your seat, not just a bare majority. For succeeding elections it needs to be 60%.
Maybe apply that to the primary process, but we need to weed out all but the most universally recognized 'cant do without' candidates.

This is 1 of my concerns. The other is, IMO, our forefathers set up a perfect system for electing Prezs, Congressman & Senators; the more power you have the less yrs your term is......House (they have the purse strings) 2 yrs, Prez - 4 yrs and Senators - 6 yrs. So by taking away this constitutional 'power' from the voters doesn't sit well with me. However on the other hand, most voters are idiots and don't do their homework.

17th Amendment.
It was a game-changer.

McCain is a complete democrat.. big government..professional politician... bitch. No idea how this clown keeps getting elected. Arizona is generally pro-wall and their residents are getting hammered by Obamacare premium increase.
McCain doesn't seem to be aware of who elected him. I wouldn't normally care who or what Arizona votes for but they keep fricking this up for the rest of us. For about 20 years now.

Seems a recipe for guaranteed corruption and using taxpayer money to buy votes to me. There are no legislators we can't do without. Only the power of lifetime politicians and their corruption and influence peddling, allows a single legislator the power to make a big difference in Congress.

Yes, for the NVA. He lost 4 or 5 planes he was flying. In a single attack McCain killed 134 sailors, injured 161, destroyed 21 Navy planes, and almost sunk the Forrestal.

Arizona recently had a choice between a Republican primary challenger and John McCain. The voters of Arizona went to the polls and re-elected John McCain for another six years in the Senate.
The voters of Arizona knew who McCain is and what a maverick he is and they re-elected him anyway.
So, thanks for nothing, Arizona.
