We’re going to get man handled by Bama.

I'm going to watch but likely won't enjoy the outcome. I just hope we can keep it respectable. I heard Alabama has an ok team this year.

You could be right. You could also be mistaken and misjudging how much LSU is improving on offense and defense.

I can already see and hear the excuses flying from Slingblade's supporters declaring moral victory. But if x,y,z wouldn't have happened it would have been much closer and lsu could have won. Also those refs cost lsu the game. All those penalties on lsu and only half as many called on bama. We should have won, just wait til next year.

Look I’ve been impressed since the Troy loss but I’ve never thought we could beat Bama this year.

I'm convinced you are just trolling at this point. There is no way you actually believe what you are typing about the upcoming Alabama game.

I'm convinced that LSU coaches will have LSU ready to compete with Alabama, I'm convinced that LSU coaches severely screwed up in the beginning but are making enormous progress.

I am more worried about their D-line having their way with our O-line.

They’re really f-ing good. We’ll have to play out of our minds. But, that’s why you play the game.

Bama doesn't have a passing attack? Their two QBs combined to pass for 332 yards against Tennessee, in a game where they probably didn't need to throw that much to win comfortably.

Aub's Dline was legit, hoping the confusion by LSU's offense slows Alabama's defensive attacks.

Yea, the takling has been so sloppy this year. I see a lot of runners making contact with our guys and they can’t seem to wrap them up cleanly. That shite has got be be remedied before bama.

It's not realistic to believe LSU can be competitive in this game.

We could have had this discussion before the Auburn game. We could have had it again at the top of our voices when LSU was down by three touchdowns. How rare is it for an unranked team down by three touchdowns to come back to beat a top 10 team?

The culture in Alabama, and I’ve lived there, is a sense of entitlement where the football team is concerned, and a sense of disdain for other SEC teams. Things are real easy for Alabama now. They never felt they’d be stressed except for Fla State and early in the season against Auburn. Stress them and some things can get disorganized.

Alabama brings penetration to disrupt a play, and LSU loves to sort of spread the field and confuse, could make for an interesting game if Alabama D guesses wrong too often.

With Guice's running style of shifting and cuts, it isn't like Fournette's, it's much better suited for dealing with Bama.

Games are won in the trenches. AL has us beat hands down with experience and depth.
Stranger things have happened but LSU might be looking at MsSt Part II or worse.

Our D will have a good showing.

But to actually beat bama you need a prolific passing attack, we simply don't have that.

Well keep it close but bama is too much.

LSU's offense has improved, making way fewer mistakes, this could be where it takes its next step up to compete with Alabama. We'll see.

Anything can happen, that's why you play the game. However, you sunshine pumpers need to pump the brakes. I don't care how many yards Guice rushed and Williams total yardage. OM is a terrible Defense and atroucious against the rush. Alabama is a different animal. How many of you said the same thing last year after LF went wild against OM? I have no problem being confident, but realize who LSU had success against and why.

LSU will have to be very creative in there scheme, which can be done. Having guice and Williams healthy is huge for this. That was evident last night with the RPO, hit Williams in the flat. The second and hardest part will be being physical for 4 qtrs. Tenn was very physical and didn't flinch for 1.5 qtrs then quit. Third, LSU will need the breaks to go there way (fumbles, int, penalties, busted plays) but if y'all are trying to compare rushing stats against ole miss and parlay that against bama, you're going to be disappointed.
