On a side note, the national record is 754 yards rushing

in 1950, Giannantonio rushed for 4,756 yards and 41 touchdowns over the team's eight-game season.[1] During a game in November that season against Mountain Lakes High School he rushed for 754 yards and nine touchdowns in a 61–0 win.[2][3][4] His 594.5 rushing yards per game average, season rushing yards total, and single-game rushing yards against Mountain Lakes remain national high school records as of 2017.

Arguably the greatest high school team of all time - the 1983 Daingerfield team

I guess it depends how you view this type of thing. A 3A school competing against other 3A schools is a pretty even ground. Daingerfield is often cited as the greatest Texas high school team of all time.

High school football records are absurd, particularly the rushing records.
Ken Hall had 11 carries for 520 yards in 1953 for Sugar Land.

I've seen McKinney in person this year and they have the largest o-line you'll see in HS. A couple are just extremely fat, but a couple others look like 5-star linemen.
This dude has shifty moves and good vision to complement the line.
They are in the same district as Allen... Texas #1 and home of the multi-million $ stadium you may have read about.

They play Allen next week. That will be a good test

McKinney has already lost a game, beaten pretty bad by Denton Guyer. The Plano schools are a poor measure and shell of what they once were in football.
Allen will put a stop to this, or not care as they hang many touchdowns on the board.

Never heard of this but that's impressive. Any college or pro standouts on that team?

If y'all want to read about the best high school running back ever, check out Ken Hall, Sugarland, TX
Most of his records have been broken by various players, but none have been as dominant as he was. It took Derrick Henry running for 2600, 2800, 2600, and 4200 to break his career record. Hall only rushed for 570 as a freshman, which is kind of strange, because 9th grade was Jr. High School in the 50s.
I read an interview with him (Hall) once where he said he remembered games where he was never tackled.
Also, he often only played in the first halves of games.
SI also did a nice article on him some 35 years ago. I still have the issue.
