Say LSU goes 9-3 this season and finishes with a strong bowl win

Let's just say LSU goes 9-3 this season and finishes with a strong bowl win. Does Matt Canada and Dave Aranda catch the first thing smoking out of Baton Rouge or do they stay knowing the young talent that got experience this year and finish out their contracts. Aranda's names been mentioned(probably not serous) for head coaching jobs.

I fully expect both to be gone next year. Especially the season finishes really strong.

I don't think the teams' success or lack thereof have anything to do with either coordinators exit, particularly Aranda.

Canada is more likely to leave. There is no guarantee O doesn't start trying to interfere again as soon as a successful (by current readjusted standards) season, and on top of that, LSU's recruiting doesn't look great. This may be the weakest recruiting class in quite some time for LSU, even perhaps worse than 2012 or 2005.

Both stay another year

If we lose Aranda we're in big trouble. I don't see Canada going anywhere after one year.

If we go 10-3 I will retract all my previous statements regarding Coach O.
If we can do that I will be fully ready to accept Coach O and forgive Alleva.
Although I will still say that we sucked arse the miss state and troy game, if that was what woke this team up then frick it. I cant be mad anymore.

Not sure why either would leave yet considering all the young talent on both sides of the ball. I think we can possibly be playoff contenders next year but especially the next year with a junior Brennan and seasoned O-line.

Ask me in January around the 10th.

I think that we keep both of them for 2 more years.

Since this is an extremely political situation internally, and we don't know what kind of jobs are open, this would have to be completely up in the air right now. There's no way to know. If the right kind of job opens up, either of these would be ripe to leave.
If we finish 9-3, there's potential for a good year next year, but, again, depending on how things are shaping up internally, this may or may not matter.

This is why many were against the O hire. You will now have to rely on getting top notch coordinators frequently. The offensive coordinator will be a huge problem, because each system will have to be implemented when a new one arrives. This is a prime example of why LSU should always hire a proven commodity at HC. not saying O can't do great, but it's highly unlikely to see a D-line coach all of a sudden become great at scheming on offense.

Look we saw a glimpse of the genius of Matt Canada and Dave Aranda in the last game against Auburn. Will we see that again in this Ole Miss game? I certainly hope so. But make no mistake about it, if these two coaches are successful in helping to turn this team around and even beating Bama, trust me the world will come knocking at their door. After seeing that Rally in the Valley last weekend, I'm thinking LSU better start thinking big as in $$$$ big.
In the meantime.....

No one is going to pay either of them what we are paying them to be coordinators and few colleges that would even consider them for HC would be able to pay that kind of money either. That's not to say they wouldn't take a small pay cut for the opportunity to be a HC. Just that no major power 5 team is going to come looking for them as a HC (yet).

If LSU finishes 10-3 and the feeling at the end of the year is that LSU is primed to make a run at the playoff, then I see both staying because it enhances their resume ....especially Canada's. Hopefully Canada can develop Davis and Sullivan more as well as Brennan. I'm not sure he has proven he can develop a QB....he seems to move from year to year.

THe bigger question is does Alleva see that he can save $3.5 million by sacking O, taking over as head coach and letting Aranda and Canada do their thing? He already watches film.
