The NFL and its players have no clue as to how out of touch with reality they are

This is a photo taken in Maine on Saturday. Maine is not known for its conservative base mind you(see Susan Collins). Yet these roofers stopped working to stand, while the anthem was being played at a high school football game in the neighborhood
If Trump hangs onto this issue, the coming landslide in '16 and '20 will bring much joy

I bet you sit in your living room munching chips and drinking beer during the national anthem...right?

I bet you pop a boner every time a player kneels... Right?

I mean..... do you see the color of the roofers?

NFL's cratering ratings may be starting to hit Fox's bottom line
quote:
Credit Suisse lowers its price target and earnings per share forecasts for Twenty-First Century Fox, citing Fox's poor Sunday NFL ratings.
"NFL ratings [are] weak so far. ... This was negatively impacted during the first 2 weeks by hurricane disruption, but is disappointing given the soft comps – if ratings do not improve materially, we see a potential headwind to domestic advertising revenues in Q2/Q3 '18," the firm's analyst writes.

You can't differentiate between a person not showing respect to the anthem/flag in his own home, in private, on his own time with a group of players intentionally showing disrespect to gain attention, while at a football game, in opposition of the majority of the paying customers?
No wonder you are on the wrong side of this issue.

If this issue, NFL players kneeling for the Anthem, decides the presidential election in 3 years, then we are either doing so well as a nation it won't matter who wins because there is nothing else to fix, or we have absolutely jumped the shark as a country.

No his boners come from watching other men perform
Well, actually I stand corrected. They might actually be in the kneeling position at some point. So carry on

I know you are trying to score some points against people you consider Trumpkins but correct me if I'm wrong, the flag code says "for all those present", right?
So, in your mind in your effort to score, is someone watching from home "present".

There's a difference between being at the stadium and sitting at home.
I mean with the time delay, how are we supposed to accurately know when to sit and stand?

As per a career Air Force friend- if you are not in person at the place the anthem is being played, you are not required to stand and salute.. but don't let that get in the way of your anti American narrative.

We need to go after the NFL's tax-exempt status. I mean, WTH?! Multi-millionaire, for-profit (BIG PROFIT) organizations... no spiritual, charity, or community outreach as a core of what they do... how in the world did these people ever get tax exempt status?!

tv viewers aren't setting an example.
However, nothing stops a true nationalist/patriot from standing, if they want to stand when viewing on the TV or when they hear the magic.

I love this retort that liberals have come up with because it's so horribly sad, it tells you that they're flailing.
It makes the Elementary School version of "oh yeah, well you......." look like high brow logic.

Just wait. It's gonna come out that players had to give up the booty for some deals and kap was only willing to give a bj so that's why he kneels.
