I would love to see 5-0 finish but I expect to see a 3-2 result and would be pleased with a 4-1 result if the team plays well.

a lot depends on possible injuries.

what I want to see is the team play tough, keep improving and a very good recruiting class filling our needs (esp on both sides of the line). I truly believe we have the team nucleus and coaching staff to bring this team to the next level.

it appears we actually have a QB for the future and an OL that has some talent going forward. that, in addition to the defense, is something I have not seen in a handful of years or longer.

Obviously 5 - 7 is the floor and 10 - 2 is the ceiling (regular season):

Ole Miss - I think we win this game

Bama - It is what it is - crazier things have happened, but ...

Arky - I think we win this game (but they always get up for us - I think Tiger Stadium is the difference, particularly if we beat Ole Miss and are competitive with Bama)

Tennessee - I think we win this game

aTm - I think we win this game

Homerism is spreading like wildfire - hell, I've caught it -

Why the frick do you expect that???

We should go 4-1 down the stretch and finish 9-3. Period.

Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Tennessee are hot garbage with weak rosters that will all have new head coaches next year.

A loss in any of those games is a huge step backwards after we have seen what this team is capable of against a good team in Auburn. Stop the fricking excuses and get back to expecting LSU to win the games they are supposed to.

The difference between 8-4 and 9-3 is Texas A&M. Another team that we SHOULD beat that could also be firing their coach.

Unlike those other teams, however, A&M has a decent enough roster to match up with us. It wouldn't be quite the embarrassment that losing to one of the other three would be, but given that it is at home on Senior Day, with a huge difference in bowl game on the line, against a team that we have beaten six years in a row, losing that game would be a huge set back after this team and staff silenced a lot of critics against Auburn. No doubt about it. We've already lost two we shouldn't have. He doesn't get another.

9-3. Get there. No excuses.

I believe LSU will probably lose to Bama because our offensive line is such a mis/motch of different players due to injuries. Thus, I don't think they will ever gel into a good line. However, I do believe they will improve as the newbies continue to gain experience.

Also, we could lose the A&M game because their defense seems to be improving and their freshman QB is dangerous and could give us problems.

However, I believe we should win all the rest of them.

However, all bets are off should the injury bug strike again. When we had key players injured and not playing, because our depth is so piss poor thanks to O's predecessor, we got blown out by Moo State and loss to Troy. However, once those injured key players returned to playing again, we beat a top 20 team and a top 10 team in back to back weeks.

So I cross my fingers that the injury bug won't hit again, not only because I want LSU to be successful, but also because I don't want to see the gay coach O haters climb out of the woodwork to falsely accuse coach O and his coaching staff again of being incompetent and unfit to be at LSU.

Thus, I agree, 9 & 3 or 8 & 4 if we lose to A&M, which I don't see happening. Although all bets or off if the injury bug strikes again.

I expected this team to be 8-4 when the season started. I stil see the same finish or a 7-5 finish and will be very pleased with that result.
You just started 3 true freshman o lineman and beat auburn! We are getting Lagniappe if we get anything other than a 3-2 finish

We're setting ourselves up for disappointment by expecting to only lose to Alabama.

This team is coming around but they're still young and another loss or two wouldn't surprise me. This is a weird year anyway and it's possible to win out or to lose out.

I'm just enjoying the ride. Under Les it had become predictable. We knew we'd play everyone tough, we'd get frustrated at the offense and clock management issues, and we'd probably get to November undefeated every year just to lose to Alabama and fall apart afterwards. This year, who the hell knows?

I see a L in t-town and one more close one between ole miss and A&M. So 8-4 but finishing with a resounding bowl victory for 9-4.

One Game at a Time Grandpa.

We won't even know what this team's end-result potential is until we emerge out of Oxford.

Remember when steady Mettenberger kept forcing the passes in Oxford and got picked in the end zone to kill so many drives? Weird things happen to our most reliable players there . . .

I can see us now winning every game except Bama...I hope we're at least competent on offense against Bama.

Ive said it since the Miss St game, this is the year we beat Bama. Im not saying we end up 10-2, because I think weve still got a couple of losses coming, but I think we get Bama this year.

My prediction.

Ole Miss - L
Bama - W
Arky - W
Ten - L
A&M - W.

LSU can beat any remaining team except Alabama.

LSU is 5-2 (2-1) : I say the Tigers lose to Alabama and drop one other SEC game.

Finish Regular season : 8-4 ( 5-3).

I don't expect anything. Just take it week by week and see which LSU team shows up.

Ole Miss "should" be a win... But those boys have nothing to lose. I expect them to come out and play a close game. This has all the feeling of being a trip up out of our remaining 5.

Bama... well, it's Bama. Pigs could fly, but I'm chalking up an L here.

Arky and Tenn should be fairly easy wins, as long as guys stay healthy.

A&M is playing better football right now. A lot can change between now and then, but Death Valley should be the deciding factor here. A&M remains winless against LSU since joining the conference. Tiger W.

Overall, I expect 4-1, but could also see 3-2 happening.
