Explain. How is it weak?

Explain your reasoning.

So that's why you start a thread bitching about it?

Indoors? Nothing. Even a service member in uniform is not required to do anything different while indoors during "to the colors" and "retreat".

Because in Trump's case it wasn't the National Anthem that was being played, it was Retreat. He was not required to do anything different. Whether the National anthem is played indoors or outdoors you are required to stand, that is the difference. So yes, it is as disrespectful to not stand for the Anthem indoors or out. Surely you're not this uninformed.

I'm a SGM in the United States Army, the cannon and flag are right outside my office window. I don't stop what I'm doing and stand during retreat when I am indoors. I continue working as usual. Our office does not go silent every day at 1700 during the playing of retreat.

To answer your question, Trump was indoors, there was a roof over his head. If I walked in to a hangar in uniform, I would have to remove my cover.

At least he didn't run indoors at the first sign of colors like most military people do.

Not sure what branch/installation/unit you experienced this but It damned sure isn't what we do in my unit. You must have been part of a unit with poor leadership, low morale and those who lack the intestinal fortitude to do the right thing.

Furthermore, When things don't go your way, there's always something. It seems no matter what, we have to find the negative in something.

This is usually the conduct of a bitter individual that is backed into a corner who is the epitome of a spoiled child that doesn't get their way. Weak Sauce.

Get the frick out of here with that nonsense. Your people do it, too. I love the SgtMaj who thinks he sees all, though.
