Did you aspire to attend the Ivy League? You must really burn to see an black kid get accepted. Isn't this the truth? Scott/Harvard/Zachary HS know the truth. Not you. And relax. Your degree (if you have one) is valid one. But let this go.

I'm sure Scott would've love that. But I doubt that happened. It would have meant he would have gotten a real look.

He did not have the "measurables" to be a QB according to some, so he got no shot. Eerily similar to Russell Wilson- He was deemed "too small" for QB and benched for Mike Glennon. Who has a Super Bowl ring and who is a back-up now?

Just sad to see that we have little to no QB depth and we let a possible good one go (who fits our OC's system pretty well).

Save your energy. We got what we got. Scott dodged a bullet on this one. He gets recruited all over again.
Is currently the Top ranked JUCO QB in the country

And is the National JUCO player of the week. On the #1 ranked JUCO in the country. Meanwhile, we have what we have...

LSU's got no back-up who can stand up to the SEC according to coach O. And Etling got hurt in just his second SEC game.

Coach O told CBS last week that Brennan isn't ready for the SEC yet. Has O changed his opinion this week? How far along is Brennan?

Based on Landry's comments, it doesn't sound like O gets to make that call... but we'll see.

I honestly don't know. Two talented guys in McMillan and Narcisse, who are wasting on the bench. Why not give Brennan and Mcmillan snaps vs Chattanooga. The lack of real opportunities is going to deplete the depth chart.

People talk. How do we expect to land TOP recruits like Justin Fields, if we establish a pattern of plugging QBs in, without making them truly compete. I don't claim to have any special sauces, but I'm doubtful that any real competition has taken place. If that's the case, it needs to change. If I'm wrong, then were saying that Mcmillan (Now in his third year), was not competent to take snaps vs Chattanooga. And Narcisse is so far behind Brennan that it warrants redshirt. Meanwhile the two least mobile QBs on the roster take every single snap of non conference play.

If it had all went perfectly, then there is nothing to discuss. But when we've stunk up the way we have, eyebrows rise, and we start to question the Eaux ball coach.

Does it matter what O thinks?

After all the info from Landry's article I have to wonder if O has any say.

Or does Canada decide who's ready and who isn't.

Apparently we forgot about he last time we trotted out a highly recruited, highly touted freshman quarterback for his first SEC start/game.

Why are So many of you still paralyzed with fear from the mistakes of Miles.

Not all freshmen QBs are as mentally fragile as J Lee or B Harris.

For proof justnlook around the country.

And this idea of not playing a freshman because he might get hurt is just stupid.

Any player, any play, any year can get hurt. I mean why play him a as a sophomore when he might get hurt. Why as a junior when he might get hurt.

TD posters kinda ignore the seriousness of the situation, in only LSU's 2nd SEC game Etling getting hurt, LSU getting no back-up ready. You are one of the few here who I feel understands what a screw-up it was to let Scott walk, what a screw-up it is to force McMillan and Narcisse to sit the bench. Meanwhile, Brennan still isn't ready to play in the SEC.

Did he say he's not ready for the SEC or did he say he's not ready for this environment, meaning on the road at Florida?

He said he had no intention of playing Brennan against the sec. He had been asked plenty of times about the QB situation.

Still isn't?

Bro, he's a freshman. Backups generally aren't ready to play in the SEC. not many teams have a QB who can step right in if the starter goes down

That's unrealistic. These are amateurs at the end of the day

I don't trust O's, I don't trust TD posters' analysis either. They easily brushed off Scott transferring, now we find out Brennan still isn't ready to be the back up in the SEC.

Now Etling is being forced to run the ball with LSU having no back-up who can.

They still have QBs that can run and throw. My guess is They are too busy trying to avoid a QB controversy as opposed winning football games.

I think the man is an idiot.

It might be true that he's not ready but he's your 2nd string QB so damn he needs to STFU

Great. Etling gets injured and you have to send in the guy you announced to the world wasn't ready.

What a dumb arse

I don't know if Myles is ready, but I know I don't trust O to decide. Maybe this is coming from Canada.

If you want my honest opinion, Myles looks nervous out there and he's making mistakes. He also doesn't look ready physically.

But I'm just a random TD poster.

Too busy trying to avoid a QB controversy, but can't avoid a coaching controversy.

Who's coaching LSU, sort like the comedy sketch of Abbott and Costello, Who's on first? LINK
