When will you smucks see that the only reason why they keep doing this PC bullshite, is to make more profits. You can't profit off people if you call them smucks or not allow a whole gender to participate ($$$).

That's right, the Cub Scouts are going to be boys and girls. The Boy Scouts will remain separated and they'll have a separate program for them. Honestly I don't think this won't be a big deal other than it's going to allow girls to join a great program and learn some life skills. Nothing at all wrong with that.

Well if that's the case this is really no big deal at all. Probably for the best

I’m curious with all of the responses opposed to this what’s the reason you are against it?

Boys and girls tend to be wired differently. Sometimes it is good for boys to hang out with just other boys and do boy things.

Basically this

My son is with girls all day at school. Female teachers all day as well.

Half the reason we do Scouts is to hang out with other boys to do boy things.

And I one hundred percent know this whole seperate dens thing will last a few years at best before it's fully co-ed. And this exact scenario will play out across packs and troop in the coming months. Just a little background on how they set up dens...They are broken up into dens of 5-10 boys by grade level. 1st is tigers, 2nd wolves, 3rd bears, 4 web1, 5 AOL. What is going to happen is there will be like 6-8 boys join as Tigers to form a den. And only one girl. The girl can't be a den by herself so she joins the boys den. There will not be separated dens even at the onset.

I dunno the sisters that were all hanging out at the brothers meetings all seemed to enjoy the stuff they were doing just as much as the boys were. The boys like blue and girls like pink mentality seems a bit out of date and I wonder if people who say that have raised both a boy and a girl.

This probably isn't a big deal for the kids. Girls older than about 10 will have no interest in being a Boy Scout.

I bet this pisses off the Girl Scouts though.
