Putting up statues of random people does not make things less sterilized
We have the internet now. You can look them all up and read about it in seconds on billions of devices
They are however a useless waste of metal and public space. Obama statues, Regan statues, Union statues, confederate statues. Tear them all down and make cast iron fences out of them it would be a better use
