Just bought a stainless tikka left hand 308 last night on a whim. Been wanting it for a while.
Also placed my order for a manners EHT 100% carbon fiber stock in their elite webb dark grey. 6 month lead time is going to bite but I get to play with loads until then.
For now a 3x9 vx3 I've had sitting around will sit atop it in a DNZ one piece. That will be changed eventually for a swaro most likely.
I'm really hoping somewhere will thread the 308 with a 1/2-28 thread so that I can put my ASR muzzle break and utilize my omega on it as well. I think I would like to cut and crown at 20" but don't want to mess up a good thing with the factory crown at 22" so I'm at a loss for what to do.
Paging Carson will Bowies thread my 308 lite tikka barrel with 1/2-28??

literally almost did the exact same thing before buying my Fix. was planning on a Tikka CTR in 308 with CDI bottom metal and Manners Elite tactical in Midnight (pretty grey color).

call and ask if John still threads. should be $100 for a straight 1/2x28 thread job

I have a lefty Tikka in 308 with a 3X9 Vortex Diamondback on top. Don't know what you plan to do with yours but mine kills the shite out of whitetails like it sits, Sweet shooting rifle.
