3) Cut back on the piped-in music during the game. Be selective. Get rid of the 90's rap and 3rd down song. Nobody likes those. Find some newer stuff that will get the players jacked up. And then let the band play the rest of the time.

Here's the problem. The Band can't play the whole game and with 50k people there is starts to get a little cavernous and quiet. They need to play something.

No they don't. Piped in muzak is a mood-killer. Piped music is not LSU.

This never seemed to be a problem back in the day. It doesn’t need to be wall to wall noise and lights and stimuli.

Why the frick not? If they can't play the whole game, what the frick is the use for them besides Pregame and Touchdowns?

The admins have really limited the visiting band from playing. I wonder if this is what is different from years ago? Both bands taking turns would fix this problem not that I want to hear other teams' bands.

As someone who was in the band, I can assure you that the band can - and we used to - play the whole game without the help from "piped in music".

Why not? When I was in TB, we played before pregame, pregame, between every play in the first half as well as every time out, during half time on the field, between every play in the second half once we were back in our seats, during every time out, then for a good 15 minutes after the game until the stands were clear.

Our chops were built up for that via pre-season camp, where we practiced all day for a week straight. This is not an issue. I promise.

Yes they can. You know how I know that? I was a GBFTL member when there was no PIM at all and we played the entire game. No problem............
