For those who say O will need 2-3 years to "Right the ship

O didn't inherit a winless team. He didn't inherit a team with no talent. He inherited one of the most successful programs in the SEC (last decade).

O needs all the time in the world, he loves LSU and it is his dream job, he talks like us and is a hell of a recruiter

While O didn't inherit a "team with no talent", he also didn't inherit a particularly talented team either. Today our offense had 3, count em, 3 true freshman playing, including both tackles. Talented teams don't have to play 3 freshmen on the o-line. We have only one really solid reciever right now, we have a qb that is average at best and our running backs are dinged up. Its not like O inherited some steamrolling offense.
On defense, 2 of our 3 best players, (Key and Lawrence) are not 100% and we have too many freshmen playing big roles at other defensive positions. Outside of Lawrence, our other D-linemen are just guys.
Unfortunately our roster this year is just not as talented as we have been used to over the past few years. I don't think O is doing a particularly good job, but its not like he's coaching a roster with Alabama's talent on it either.
