High-bar backsquat is way less comfortable for me than any of squat variation I can think of, for me. Don't know why, but low-bar, front-squat, overhead, goblet, etc etc are all way more natural feeling for me.

I feel like im wedging myself into the worlds simplest torture machine when I walk out my low bars. Somewhere in the middle tends to be my go to.

Low bar squats would simply destroy my elbows. I have to take a wide grip on high bar squats.

Wrap thumbs around bar and put on wrist wraps to help elbow pain.

Power clean has always been my go-to.

I look like a retard doing snatch though.

This. I took the time to learn it correctly and it's been my favorite lift ever since

This is exactly how I feel about squats

This is me. I can power clean like a SOB, especially if I squat clean it, now snatch on the other hand.....feels like I am virgin still.

Pressing movements for sure. Overhead presses, etc. Very easy for me.

I struggle with deadlifts because my form gets out of wack very easily.

I dont practice power cleans much at all, but am about to start working them again alot. Last time i tested was two years ago and weighing 190ish i was able to legit POWER clean 225, notice i said power and not squat clean. Not the best but I also wasnt working it very much at all. I know I could do 185 right now and I Haven't done a single clean in prolly over 6 months outside of a light conditioning emom session once or twice.

Been a while since I've done legit strength work for clean and jerk but I did 225 yesterday and it didn't feel bad. Most Ive done is 250, but I think I can hit at least 235 currently. But that's in my wheel house.

You'd absolutely destroy me on bench and make me look like a bitch though. And squats, and a bunch of other shite.

frick no not bench, everything else maybe. Squats I am not heavy on but if 95% of people did squats like me they wouldnt be able to use more than 135 or so.

Any pressing movement is comfortable.

I used to love DL, but tweaked my back bad and never wanted to do them heavy again. That was my strongest lift when I first started CF, like a lot of people.

I'm in the clean camp too. Power & explosion , coordination, flexibility, athleticism. Def my fav movement

Whenever there is a wod with 225lb deadlifts in it i don't want to do it. It's not that it is too heavy to lift, it's that its so easy to mess up. The slightest mistake and you can hurt yourself. Just like you, I have hurt myself before. I don't think it is wise to deadlift heavy at a fast pace. The comp (3 man team) I was in this weekend had 60 reps of 225 toward the end of it and me and one partner rotated doing 5 at a time. My back feels like shite because of it. Just throw in cleans, push press... anything but that shite.
