Already ruled out LSU and Crystal Palace based on a thread so looking for a team that is an up and comer but not a trendy millennial team.

They don't play the National Anthem in the Premier League, so you would probably hate it.

You seem like the kind of bloke who likes bubbles. Go with West Ham.

Arsenal.
You'll fall in love and they'll trick you into thinking they are good like LSU has for the past 5 years.

Honduras. Watch them play Friday. Their lack of scoring will lull you into a snooze-fest.

Try the search function. This is a once-a-week thread (although not typically started by butt hurt snowflakes like yourself).

What kind of people do you want to identify with?
Suarez of uruguay is fun. Fabulous scorer who has a screw loose. If you foul him he may bite you. Plays for mighty Barcelona and uruguay. Uruguay is not top tier, just good. You can follow uruguay in wc qualifying and russia.
For club fandom, pick a smallish town in 2nd division and check out the incredible fa cup. The fa cup throws all teams in hat. You can have lucky draw and never play a top team until the semis. Some big money teams will clash first round. I wish ncaa hoops was blind draw.
For a middling premier league team, go by the outfit they wear, which are called kits. Pick a kit you would like to wear. Take note, there are really guys creaming over kits on the soccer board.

This homeboi should join the boys at Leyton Orient. They would never disrespect our flag.

Pick one of these...
Manchester United
Liverpool
Arsenal
Chelsea
Tottenham
Manchester City
Almost always on TV, have plenty of US supporters, and are a threat to win the league at least some years.

The fact that city doesnt have a million fans over here is what makes me like them even more.
