Of course. Its therapeutic in a way. Just like people who write in journals about their frustrations etc.. Dogs seem to have a sense about people that makes it appear as though they are in tune with our emotional states...or maybe people just like dogs so much they want such a thing to be true.

Our dog gets talked to a lot. Our kids are grown and gone so the dog is the baby of the house. He even gets his own ice cream or a burger when we go to sonic or someplace else. He says he likes sonic the best, lol.
