It's not a honeycomb pattern, it's part of the Adidas template and embedded into the jersey fabric. It's affectionately called the "tire treads" in the logo design community.

I really hope we don't get the stupid tire treads on our uniforms. It is a step up from the Russell honeycomb design though.

Those are sweet. If adidas brings those back as an alternate they will be on the good side of fans imo.
I like the fact that they are choosing the one gold color, that will be way more consistent. Also idk why some people question GT leaving Russell, russell is pure garbage.

This is a little off topic but do Tech fans want their next HC to run the triple option?
I think y'all would be a good power spread type team, dual threat QB would be a bonus. Imo the triple option will get you solid wins but is harder to get 11/12 win seasons.

All gold isn't good but all navy looks good. Gold top with navy bottom and vice-versa would be nice.

Russell didn't cheat enough for us. If we want to be big time then we need to join up with top notch cheating apparel companies.

I think we have to run something unusual but then I was in school for seasons 79-81 so I may be biased. Lesser athletes running what everybody else does didn't work back then.
We should wear the Calvin throwbacks once a year but LSU has a set just like them. Maybe next time we play them in the Peach Bowl both teams could wear theirs.

If we committed to the authentic gold it would be awesome. I would love to have a color that is distinctively ours sort of like Tennessee and Texas with their respective oranges. That much better to me than going with washed out colors in the name of fashion.
